SWOP – Safety Watch Observation Programme

SWOP stands for the Safety Watch Observation Programme – our behavioural observation and feedback process.
There is considerable evidence in industry that SWOP plays a major role in reducing injury rates at work.

Phase 1 of SWOP Workshops would be for participants from the Leadership sessions. We believe the simplest, most effective and enduring way in which managers and leaders can demonstrate their commitment to safety and stimulate permanent change in behaviours from a workforce is by engaging in frequent discussions about safety out in the workplace

Phase 2 is ‘SWOP for Everyone’ where a tailored version of SWOP is available for non-Managers, for team members.

SWOP workshops are backed up by SWOP coaching sessions, recognising not everyone finds it easy or has the skills to do it without some help.

SWOP stands for the Safety Watch Observation Programme – our BBS or Behavioural observation and feedback process. There is considerable evidence that SWOP plays a major role in reducing injury rate at work.
